Brooklyn Decker is the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Cover Girl

Well, here she is, your 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Cover Model: Brooklyn Decker. And there couldn't be a more obvious choice. She's ridiculously hot, and is a good choice. It's just that, like the rest of the issue, it's painfully obvious. I hate to say it, but after all the hype, I'm actually pretty disappointed overall.

Maybe it's because they wouldn't shut up about it on Twitter, but this year's issue feels off. Last year's was incredibly sexy. Maybe it's the photographers they chose. It's really hard to take a bad picture of the most beautiful women in the world, so they get a pass right there, but in the end, I feel left wanting more. Much more.

Joe Jackson Speaks Manslaughter Charge in Death of Michael Jackson

Los Angeles, California (CNN) -- Michael Jackson's father suspects his son was murdered and that Dr. Conrad Murray is "just a fall guy" in a conspiracy.

Joe Jackson appeared on CNN's "Larry King Live" on Monday night, just hours after sitting in a courtroom to hear Murray plead not guilty to a single charge of involuntary manslaughter in his son's death last summer.

A Los Angeles judge set bail at $75,000, despite arguments from the prosecutor that Murray is a flight risk and needs a higher bail. Murray posted the bond and was released several hours later.

Michael Jackson's family, including his parents, four of his brothers and one sister, filled the first two rows of the small courtroom.

"I was looking for justice, and justice, to me, would be a murder charge," Joe Jackson told King.

Prosecutors charged Murray, who was Jackson's personal physician, with causing the pop star's death "without malice" by acting "without due caution and circumspection."

Murray was with the pop star when he died on June 25, 2009.

The Los Angeles County coroner ruled Jackson's death a homicide, resulting from a combination of drugs, primarily propofol -- a powerful anesthesia -- and lorazepam.

Joe Jackson suggested it was more than a doctor making a fatal judgment.

"To me, he's just a fall guy" Jackson said. "There's other people, I think, involved with this whole thing. But I think that he's interrogated -- he would come clean and tell everything he knows."

He said Michael Jackson told his mother, as he was preparing for his comeback concerts in London, England last year, that he thought he would be killed.

"He was afraid to even do all of these shows, because he was afraid that he wouldn't get a chance to finish all of the show," Joe Jackson said. "He couldn't do all those shows back-to-back. Even his kids say that he had told them that he would be murdered."

Murray turned himself in shortly before 4 p.m. at a branch courthouse near Los Angeles International Airport. He pleaded not guilty during a brief hearing before Judge Keith L. Schwartz.

The judge refused to suspend Murray's medical license as a term of his bond, but he did order him not to use any anesthesia on patients.

"I don't want you sedating people," Schwartz told Murray.

The involuntary manslaughter charge means that Murray caused Jackson's death by acting "without due caution and circumspection."

If convicted, Murray would face a maximum four-year prison sentence, according to prosecutors.

Jackson family members later reacted to what they saw in the courtroom:

"Not enough," Jermaine Jackson said when asked what he thought of the charge.

"I don't like what happened," Joe Jackson said as he left the courthouse.

La Toya Jackson later issued a statement through a publicist.

"Michael was murdered and although he died at the hands of Dr. Conrad Murray, I believe Dr. Murray was a part of a much larger plan," her statement said. "There are other individuals involved and I will not rest and I will continue to fight until all of the proper individuals are brought forth and justice is served."

Her statement did not elaborate on what she meant in her reference to "a much larger plan."

Dr. Conrad Murray Pleads Not Guilty

Dr. Conrad Murray pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges Monday, following the death of his patient, pop superstar Michael Jackson, last June.

FULL ARTICLE after the break...

According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, Jackson’s death was ruled a HOMICIDE by drug overdose with Dr. Murray administering the music legend the powerful anesthetic propofol and two other sedatives to help him sleep.

Superior Court Judge Keith Schwartz released Dr. Murray on $75,000 bail, ordered him to turn in his passport and return to court April 5 to set a date for his preliminary hearing.

Following the hearing, LaToya Jackson issued a statement expressing her belief that Michael had been murdered and others were involved in his death:

“I will continue to fight until all of the proper individuals are brought forth and justice is served.”

Joe Jackson expressed the sentiments as well on Larry King Live saying that Michael believed he was going to be murdered, although he would not elaborate.

Dr. Murray’s involuntary manslaughter charge alleges Murray “did unlawfully and without malice kill Michael Joseph Jackson”. If convicted, Murray, who’s currently out on bail, could face up to four years in prison.

"Saw VII" Marks The End of a Franchise

While there were talks that there will be at least eight "Saw" films, Patrick Meltonbelieves the franchise will meet its end soon. Speaking to Matt Horn and David Murphy from U.K. radio show Demon FM, the screenwriter of "Saw IV", "Saw V", "Saw VI" and "Saw VII" says the upcoming seventh movie will mark the end of the franchise.

FULL ARTICLE after the break...

"I think it's going to end with 'Saw VII'. I have a very strong feeling its going to end with 'Saw VII'. That's something we're debating now," Melton states. He later reveals that the upcoming sequel will be known as "Endgame", saying "I don't own the franchise, nor do I run the studio, but I have a feeling, a strong feeling that it's going to be 'Saw VII' which will be also known as 'Endgame'. And nothing's official yet, but that's where we're hoping things will go."

Speaking of the reason why "Saw" will be ended, the screenwriter admits that the latest film did not perform well on the box office. "You saw in previous interviews or discussions where we thought 'Saw VIII' would be the last one where we had the first trilogy and the second trilogy and then sort of a grand finale wrapped up in two films," he explains. "But frankly because 'Saw VI' hasn't performed as well as we anticipated, the idea is well why make two movies when we can make one really excellent movie that wraps up as best we can?"

Asked about rumor that "Saw" will be rebooted, Melton doubts that, saying "I've never heard that." He then insisted, "I don't think so, no. Ya know maybe, ha, maybe ten years from now. Ah, but I don't think so. At this point everyone is very focused on making 'Saw VII' and seeing if we can make this sort of the grand finale."

"Saw VII", which Patrick Melton said will made into 3-D film, has started production on Monday, February 8. This seventh installment of the horror franchise will see Tobin Bell returning to reprise his role as serial killer John Kramer, known as Jigsaw. Directed by Kevin Greutert, the forthcoming thriller eyes October 22 release in the U.S.

TOP 5 MOVIES (02.08.09): 'John' Stops 'Avatar' Seven Week Reign At #1

The Book of Eli," "Edge of Darkness" and several other recent films failed to conquer "Avatar" in their respective opening weekends, but romantic drama "Dear John" rose to the occasion and dethroned the box-office juggernaut for a first-place victory worth $32.4 million.

FULL ARTICLE after the break...

From Friday through Sunday, "Dear John" earned enough in domestic ticket sales alone to recoup its entire $25 million production budget. It's a somewhat surprising result for the movie, as distributor Screen Gems had anticipated a $20 million intake over the course of the Super Bowl weekend. But thanks to the bolstered support of an 84 percent female audience, with two-thirds of viewers younger than 21 years old, "Dear John" was able to pick up the ball, blitz the box office and tackle "Avatar" in the process.

While James Cameron's latest has bested his own "Titanic" in almost every meaningful record to date, "Avatar" wasn't able to hold on to the top box-office spot for the same length of time as the 1997 Oscar winner. "Titanic" stayed at #1 for 17 straight weeks, while "Avatar" only managed a streak of seven weekends. Additionally, with Cameron's science-fiction epic no longer the top dog at the box office, it's likely that the Fox film's prospects for staying in 3-D locations when Disney's "Alice in Wonderland" hits theaters next month have diminished significantly.

But even in light of "Avatar" 's fall from first place, it's well worth mentioning that the movie's record-breaking success and worldwide tally of over $2 billion is unlikely to be matched anytime soon. "Dear John" may have taken the weekend crown, but "Avatar" remains the current king of the cinematic world.

The remainder of the top five finishers brought in lackluster results when compared to "Dear John" and "Avatar." Debuting action film "From Paris With Love" and Martin Campbell's "Edge of Darkness" saw mild performances, while "Tooth Fairy" suffered a 35 percent drop from last weekend for a fifth-place finish.

TOP 5 MOVIES FEB. 5 - FEB. 7
1. "Dear John" ($32.4 million)
2. "Avatar" ($23.6 million)
3. "From Paris With Love" ($8.1 million)
4. "Edge of Darkness" ($7 million)
5. "Tooth Fairy" ($6.5 million)

HONORABLE MENTIONS:
- "Crazy Heart" finally managed to break into the top ten this week, jumping up 6 spots to #8

- The box office hit "Sherlock Holmes" passed the $200 million mark this weekend just 7 weeks after it's release

Who Dat! Saints Win Their First Super Bowl!

The Saints and their fans awoke Monday to the realization that the once lovable losers from New Orleans were Super Bowl champions for the first time in the club's 43-year history after Sunday's 31-17 triumph over the Indianapolis Colts.

FULL ARTICLE after the break...

Straight from Disney World, Saints QB Drew Brees talks about winning the Super Bowl

After the Saints won their first National Football League championship -- 43 years after they played their first game -- they talked about the once-ravaged city they represent.

"We play for so much more than ourselves," said Saints quarterback Drew Brees with his brown hair matted to his forehead. "We played for our city. We played for the entire Gulf Coast region. We played for the entire Who Dat nation that has been behind us every step of the way."

Brees referenced trying to rebuild New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina -- and a football franchise, too. Burn those bags. Put the S back in front of those Ain'ts. These Saints, finally, are Superb.

"It means everything," Brees said. "We're here because of their strength and everything they fought through here the last few years. They've given us so much support, so we owe it all to our fans."

Peyton Manning may have been the regular-season MVP, but on this given Sunday, Brees was better. Lifting his team from a 10-point deficit, Brees completed 32 of 39 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns to tie the Super Bowl record for completions on his way to winning the game's MVP honors.

We have seen Manning and Reggie Wayne make so many plays over the years, at first it was hard to grasp what had happened when cornerback Tracy Porter stepped between them. Hurried by the Saints' blitz, Manning fired a pass to the slanting Wayne, but Porter broke first. He gathered the ball in and sprinted toward the goal line as the pro-Saints crowd roared. Manning, the only one who could have stopped him, gave a half-hearted effort.

It was a resounding 74-yard interception return with 3:12 left to seal the Saints' victory.

"Made a great play," a red-faced Manning said after the game. "Made a great play. Corner made a heck of a play."

Later, when the interception was raised again, Manning was similarly terse. "Certainly disappointing," he allowed. "Very disappointing. Disappointing."

Porter's interception was the finishing blow, but head coach Sean Payton's bold call for an onside kick to open the second half might have been the play that changed the game.

"We were really excited when he made the call," said linebacker Jonathan Casillas, who was on the field when teammate Chris Reis recovered the ball. "That changed everything."

Some 700 miles away from Sun Life Stadium, it was All Saints Night on Bourbon Street as the French Quarter rocked with something approaching Mardi Gras intensity. The New Orleans Times-Picayune reported that the Saints will be honored in a parade on Tuesday.

"Just to think of the road we've all traveled, the adversity we've all faced," Brees said. "It's unbelievable. I mean, are you kidding me? Four years ago, whoever thought this would be happening? Eighty-five percent of the city was under water. Most people left not knowing if New Orleans would ever come back, or if the organization would ever come back.

"We just all looked at one another and said, 'We're going to rebuild together. We are going to lean on each other.' That's what we've done the last four years and this is the culmination in all that belief."
